     The mission of the Alternative Education Program is to promote the areas:

• Academic performance,
• Behavior modification,
• Functional skills,
• Career education,
• Character education, and
• Employability skills in a learning environment that offers high expectations and high support.

     Through the individualized instruction and education plans (IIP/IEP), students, parents, and school faculty collaborate to address those six key areas.  A commitment is made to provide a safe, structured environment that is conductive to helping students to function in today's ever-changing society.
